SECRETS TO CREATE A MORE PEACEFUL HOME WITH YOUR TEENAGERS
Let's dive into some of the proven strategies to transform your home from stressful to peaceful. You'll learn how to align with your partner on parenting decisions, establish effective family systems, communicate respectfully during conflicts, recognize your own issues versus theirs, and accept your teen as they are. This will be the perfect complement to everything you're learning inside the program!
Challenge of the Month
Let's replace one controlling habit with connection this month.
Connection Over Control Challenge...
For this month's Challenge, I want you to identify at least three issues about which you and your teen constantly argue. You'll examine these issues to determine if you are you threatening their autonomy by exhibiting too much control. You'll then choose one of the issues where you believe this may be happening and follow the Challenge to turn the situation around.
To help clarify for your self and to help other parents, I want you to share what you're learning about this particular issue, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. You'll check in mid-month, then share full results at month's end. Click below for full details and to start the Challenge!
